Simple, Easy and Quick Sponge Cake Recipe(Contains Egg)

In a bowl take half cup(4-5 tsp) of powdered sugar and 3 eggs.


With a hand blender or with any tool that you have whisk the mixture for 5-10 minutes till the contents gets super fluffy.



Now in a separate bowl boil 1cup of milk with 8-10 cubes of butter.Make sure you that you don't over boil them.





Keep stirring the mixture and keep it aside.


Now in the egg and sugar mixture add half cup of self raising flour/maida.



Add few drops of vanilla essence.


Also add 1tsp of baking soda and 2tsp of baking powder into the mixture/batter.



Again hand blend the mixture for 7-9 minutes.


Now add the butter and milk mixture. Be ensured that the butter and milk mixture is hot and not boiling.



Consistency must be as shown below.



In a buttered tin pour the mixture.




And in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes, insert the container and let it bake for 40-50 minutes.



Check by inserting the skewer, if it comes out clean. you are ready with super fluffy and delicious sponge cake. Let it cool in a cooling tray.



Cut into pieces of your choice.
