Veg Biryani, Veg Pulao, Tehri.

Be ready with the below veggies chopped.
Veggies include potatoes, tomatoes, beans, carrots, green peas, capsicum, garlic, green chillies, mint leaves, coriander leaves, paneer(tofu)



In a pressure cooker add 2tsp of ghee/butter and once melted add cummin seeds.


Also, cinnamon stick, lavang, bay laves, cardamom.


Once you start feeling the aroma, add 1tbsp of ginger garlic paste.


Stir it for few minutes.


Add slit green chillies and chopped garlic.


Now add all the above veggies except paneer(tofu), green peas, mint and coriander leaves.


Stir fry few minutes then add salt.


Also add turmeric and 1tbsp of  any biryani/pulao masala, toss for 2-3 minutes.


It's time to add paneer(tofu) and green peas.


Now add coriander and mint leaves. Also add 1tsp of garam masala.


I've taken 1cup of rice washed in cold water. You can take as per your requirement.



Stir fry the rice with all the veggies for 3-4 minutes and add water to it.
The proportion be like : if you have 1cup of rice you need to add 2cups of water.


Cover the lid and let it whistle once. Make sure you don't open the lid for first 10min.



You can garnish it with few fried cashews too. 
You are ready with lip smacking Veg Biryani!!
