You'll need soya chunks/nutrela. I used below brand in my recipe. It's nice and turns out to be                                                                      super fluffy.

Boil your soya chunks in hot boiling water.

Don't over cook your soya. It must be just enough once you feel the softness.

Put off the flame and drain off the water. You also need to wash the soya chunks with tap water to cool it down.

Now squeeze all the water from soya chunks with the help of your bare hands and place it in a separate container. Make sure you squeeze as much as you can to avoid mushiness.

For marination: Cornflour(2-3 tsp), Maida/all purpose flour(1-2 tsp), tomato ketchup(2tsp), chilli sauce(2tsp), soya sauce(3tsp), white vinegar(2tsp), salt to taste and 1tsp of black pepper powder.

Mix all the above ingredients.

Now in a heavy bottom pan with 2-3 tsp of vegetable oil, start frying your marinated soya chunks.

Flip it on all sides.

Fry till it turns golden brown and separate out in a dish.

Now, we shall start with the sauce.

You'll need sliced red onions, chopped green chillies and garlic.

In a same pan with 1tsp of vegetable oil, add all the above ingredients.
Note that you can also add other veggies like red/yellow bell peppers, capsicum, carrots or french beans, etc.

Stir fry them, don't over cook them. you just need a toss.

Soya Sauce, tomato ketchup, chilli sauce and vinegar(all 2-3 tsp) is required for the sauce.

Add all of them in the same pan with onions, chilli and garlic.

For few second toss them and then add 1 tsp of sugar, salt to taste(since soya sauce contains bit salt, kindly add pinch of salt), black pepper powder(1tbsp).

Add 1/4th cup of water and on high flame let the sauce be bit dense.

Once the sauce is nice and thick add your golden fried soya chunks.

Mix properly to let the sauce absorb your soya. Cover with a lid for few seconds and you are done.

Sprinkle finely chopped spring onion and serve hot your yummilicious soya chilli.
Request you share if you enjoyed the dish. :-)
