Crisp and Shallow Golden fried Parwal Masala. Parval/Pointed Gourd Masala Dry.

Cut the parwal into 4 pieces by cutting vertically. Remember to scrap the seeds if you don't like them.


Clean them properly by draining off the excess water. Pat dry the parwals to make it crisp and golden. keep it aside.


Now, in a bowl take 1tsp each of coriander(dhaniya), cummin(jeera), turmeric(haldi), chilli powder and salt to taste.


Mix all the above ingredients with 1tsp of mustard oil.



Now add in all your parwals



Properly mix all the masalas with the parwals and keep it aside.


Now, in a flat bottom frying pan add 1-2tsp of oil(vegetable/mustard). Let the oil heat. Once you see the smoke add all your masala coated parwals into it.


Cover with the lid for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame.


Flip it and cook it on both sides by covering it again.


Once parwal becomes soft remove the lid and stir it for 5min on high flame to make it crisp and nice golden color. And you done.


Now you are ready to serve golden crisp parwal dry.
