Chicken Momo Recipe. Chicken Momos Recipe with chilli garlic sauce. Momo Sauce Recipe.

Take 250gms of minced chicken.


Finely chop 1 red onions.


Add your finely chopped red onions in your minced chicken.


Add small piece of grated ginger.



Add 1 chopped green chili.


Add salt as per taste.


Also add half tsp of black pepper powder.


Add 1tsp of vegetable oil.


Also add 1tsp of butter.


Mix it well.


You can add half tsp of azino moto.This part is completely optional. 


Add 1tsp of garlic paste.


Mix all the ingredients well and keep it aside. This is your filling or the stuffing.



Now, it's time for flour. Take 1cup of maida/all purpose flour.


Take half tsp of yeast in 1cup of warm water and mix it. This part is also optional , you can simply prepare your dough with plain water.


Add your yeast water to the flour. Remember this is optional, you can use only pain water.


Prepare your dough like a regular dough that you prepare for your chapatis using plain water. Keep it aside.


Now roll your dough into a large circle and cut it using any cup/bowl. Remember this is a quicker technique.


You can also roll into small circles one by one. It need not be of proper shape. But it must be thin.


After rolling it into small circles, take it in your palm and put 1-2 tsp of your filling on it.


Now follow the images as below for packing/sealing.




And you are done. Basic idea is to make a packets. You need not be very proper with the shape.


Be ready with all the packets of momo.


Now, take your steamer/idli stand. Anything will do. With half cup of water in your steamer place it over the flame.


Place all your momo packets over the plate and cover the lid for 10-15 minutes. And that is when you are done.
