Healthy White Sauce Pasta Recipe with Garlic Bread without Cheese.


You'll need 1/4th piece of onion, 1-2 bay leaves and few cloves.


Secure the bay leaves by pricking in the cloves to the onion as shown below.


Now, take a bowl with plain milk(2-3 cups) and place it on a low flame. In the same milk before the milk starts boiling dip the onion/bay leaves and cloves done earlier.


On a medium flame bring the milk to boil.


Once the boiling starts take out the onion/bay leaves/cloves from the milk.


In a separate pan/dish boil any pasta of your choice. I've taken Penne.


Add little salt to it.


Once the pasta is cooked strain and set aside.


Heat ½ tablespoon butter in a pan.


Slowly start adding all purpose flour/maida to the butter.


Don't keep it unattended. Keep stirring the mixture.



Keep adding the flour little by little and whisking the same until you get the creamy mixture.



It's time to add the milk that you had boiled with onions/bay leaves/cloves. Again you need to use the same formula. Keep adding the milk stirring it all the time.



Add 1/2tbsp  of black pepper powder.


Also add chili flakes and oregano/Italian seasoning.


On a medium heat bring the mixture to boil until you get the creamy texture. don't make it too dense.


Add the boiled pasta to it.


Mix it well.


Meanwhile on a separate pan heat some butter.


Saute some chopped garlic.



Also get ready with the veggies of your choice. I like adding mushrooms,broccoli,red/yellow bell peppers,carrots,zucchini,etc.


Add all the veggies to the butter/garlic pan.


Saute for a while.


Cover the lid.


And saute again. Avoid overcooking the veggies. Switch off the flame and keep it aside.


It's time to add the veggies to your creamy yummy pasta. and yes you are done. Check the seasoning. If required add more.


It's time for some garlic Bread. It tasted best with this pasta. Slice the bread.


Spread some butter.


Spread it on a oven tray.


Sprinkle chopped garlic.


And then grate cheese over the bread.(Cheese is optional)


Insert the tray to the oven for 15min at 180 degrees. You can also use your pan.


Your garlic bread is ready.
